Cascade Youth and Family Center hosts 24 hour hotline; our Emergency Shelter is here when most needed. Youth can stay up to 21 days, in the shelter rooms at the LOFT, or in vetted host homes for kids under 16.
A stay may be a period of respite while working through family conflict. For others it’s a break from the hazards of life on the street, allowing kids a little time to think through their options. Emergency shelter also serves as a probationary period for kids who transition from Street Outreach or our Basic Program into longer term Transitional Living at the LOFT.
