Cascade Youth and Family is a community outreach service to youth 14 – 24, living unsheltered in Central Oregon.
We work for youth living with or without their parent or guardian who are …
– Unable to resolve conflict with parents or guardian
– Living in an unsafe or unstable environment at home
– Couch surfing or staying temporarily with friends or family
– Sleeping unsheltered, outside, in a car, or other places not meant for housing
– Sleeping in temporary shelters
Our Outreach Team is mobile, offering snacks and other basic need items to youth throughout Central Oregon. We can help with food boxes and snacks, hygiene supplies, clothing, school supplies, diapers, laundry, heating sources, support obtaining copies of a Birth Certificate, ID, and a SS Card, (OHP, SSI, SNAP), support with resources, employment, education, and referrals to shelter and housing! Just ask if you have special needs! We have shelters specifically for youth located throughout Central Oregon, or vetted Host Homes within your community. At Drop-In youth are offered: showers, laundry, a warm meal, food boxes, clothing, hygiene supplies, internet access; Staff support with resources, employment, and education; Referrals to shelter and housing, support obtaining birth certificate, ID’s; SS Card, support with OHP, SSI, and SNAP; Connection to dental, medical, and mental health care.
