Scholarships

As a program of J Bar J Youth Services, kids who have been in our programs are eligible to apply for scholarships. These can help with costs for college or trade school, giving kids another tool for building the future they want.

Those of us who have been through the college Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process, either for ourselves or our children, know how difficult it is to navigate. Imagine being a kid graduating from high school and facing it alone, especially without the parental information required. Most student aid and loans require FAFSA be completed. Fortunately, we are able help the kids in our program through the process. Add the availability of scholarships to those other forms of financial assistance, and post-secondary education can be a reality.
